Well I do recommend that you grow your nails out a little bit, just because it makes it look better. Shape them up with a nail file to your liking.
Take your scotch tape and place it on your finger, not right at the tip, but just below it. This is the part where you will be painting the nail, its almost like a stencil! You can cut the tape to the shape of a smile. The tape gives you a nice curve line and its easier to see if there is paint leakage.
Now paint the tip where the tape isn't covering with your white nail polish. Let it dry, and peel off the tape. Now do the same with the rest of your nails.
